Well done to everyone who came on Saturday’s Selection Night. Commiserations to those who didn’t make it onto the float this year. It is always a tricky decision to make.
The Royalty will be crowned at the opening of Riverfest by the High Sheriff on Saturday, 10th May, at around 10:15.
UPDATE: Our chosen Royalty for Newport Carnival’s float in 2025 were crowned by the Isle of Wight High Sheriff, Jacqueline Gazzard, on the stage at Riverfest.
We are looking forward to another great carnival season in the summer!
