The Newport Carnival & Community Events Association proudly celebrated the crowning of the Newport Carnival Royalty during the official opening of Riverfest, with the ceremony led by the High Sheriff, Nigel Heartly.
The special occasion took place as part of the Newport Carnival & Community Events Association’s Riverfest celebrations, bringing together families, community members, and supporters for a memorable opening to the event.
During the ceremony, the newly selected Carnival Royalty were officially crowned in front of attendees, marking the beginning of an exciting year representing Newport Carnival at community events and celebrations across the region.
The crowning was conducted by High Sheriff Nigel Heartly, who welcomed the girls into their new roles and praised the continued community spirit and dedication shown by everyone involved in Newport Carnival and Riverfest.
