During such extraordinary times, charities such as Newport Carnival has suffered as a result of the pandemic and not being able to hold their annual summer & winter carnivals.
However, thanks to the team at Asda, we have been chosen as one of three charities for their Green Token Giving scheme.
Those of you who shop regularity may have seen, or even voted in the past, for charities with a little green token.
Due to Covid-19, Asda has currently stopped voting in stores with their Green Tokens, however, you can vote online instead!
The cause with the most online votes will receive a £500 donation while second and third place each receive £200.
It is simple, all you need to do is click on the button below which will take you to the Asda website where you will see three boxes, click vote under the one that says Newport Carnival and we will be very grateful.
It takes no more than 10 seconds to vote and you do not even need to enter any personal details, just press vote!
It could not be easier.
If you are feeling kind, you can vote for us once every 7 days, so if you set a little reminder for a weeks’ time, you can vote again, and again, and again until the draw closes.
Asda Foundation is an independent charity with more than 30 years’ history of helping people in local communities.
Each year, the Asda Foundation invests over £1.4m to more than 4,000 good causes through Green Token Giving. In-store Green Token Giving activity is currently on pause due to Covid restrictions but we’re excited to be bringing it online.
It is important that we support the right groups and who better to choose local causes than you, the customer. Join us in giving back to YOUR local community by voting online for your favourite local cause!
