Just like our main carnival, it was also very much touch and go as to whether Newport Illuminated Carnival 2024 would go ahead due to a very wet day and still drizzling and cold an hour before showtime.
Thankfully, the weather eased enough to allow us a window of opportunity to let our Illuminated procession get underway.
Thank you to everyone who came, took part, supported and watched on at the 2024 illuminated carnival.
