Elf on the Shelf Newport Window Spot Competition

Elf shelf

Take part in Newport Carnival & Community Events Association’s Elf on a Shelf Window Spot Competition 2021!

As you may already know, Newport Carnival is turning 100 next year and we are always looking for and finding initiative ways to help raise money to bring you the best carnival we can possibly put together.

Our great team of volunteers work throughout the year to tender for grants, fundraise, come up with new ideas and bring you some enjoyment.

Elf of the Shelf 2021

So, in 2021 we are bringing you Elf on a Shelf Window Spot Competition which is a simple but fun treasure hunt style activity around Newport (and a few surrounding areas).

There are 26 elves that have been let loose and hidden themselves in shop windows. We are now on the hunt for them and need your help!

What you need to do…

The aim is to purchase an entry form from one of the locations below, travel around Newport and hunt for those pesky elves!

To be able to bring justice to the menaces and get them home for Christmas, we need your help to find them in the shop windows, write down their names and drop the form back to us to assist us in tracking them down!

Once you have filled the form in, you can return it back to Cafe Ninety Three at 93 High Street Newport (Next to the Castle Inn public house).

Where to get your forms…

You can purchase your entry form for as little as £1 at the following locations:

  • Cafe Nintey Three | 93 High Street, Newport
  • Arty Crafty Party Shop | 15 High Street, Newport
  • Farnsworth Newsagents | 76 St James’ Street, Newport

AND for one day only, you can purchase your entry form from the Santa’s Grotto at the Minster in St Thomas’ Square on Saturday 20th November during Newport’s Day of Christmas.

You can win…

What you can win a free entry pass to Blackgang Chine or a group of 4 to Arty Crafty Party Shop.

Good luck!
